I wonder why...

Why do men shave off the entire side burn? I was on the bus today sitting next to a man, well he sat next to me on a empty bus, but oh well. As I stared him down for sitting next to me I saw it, something that should never happenb, its just not cute nor is it flattering to the male face. HE SHAVED HIS ENTIRE SIDE BURN OFF TO HIS HAIR LINE!!! WHY?

Again I could not help but to stare at him, I mean stare hard, I had my neck cranked 90 degrees to the side just looking, I am sure I had the stank look on my face, but I could not help it. The male face is set to have hair grow in a certain way, your side burns should be at a certain length to flatter your face shape and bone structure. To the left is a image that give some kind of perspective as to how they should be worn, and at what length.

Horizontal Stripes. A Do or a Dont?

So, this is something that I am always finding myself battling with. I love the look of bold horizontal stripes in bold colors. I find that when wearing them I have the tendency to look wider than I am. That is until I found this amazing cardigan, it has the bold colors and the bold stripes, the magic that makes it work is that it has black in a bolder stripe then the colors. LOVES IT!

ripped shirt = sad day!

So its Friday, and I wanted to take the casual approach to my day. I went to the closet, found my favorite "wetern" inspired button down shirt and put it on with my favorite Levi 511 faded denim. Thought I looked super cute, went to take that last glimps in the mirror and there it was... A RIPPED SLEEVE!!!

I went with it anyways, rolling the sleeve up to above the elbow and am rocking it now.

What were they thinking?

This is going to be a section I post daily about things I saw on the streets of Seattle. It can be inspirational, interesting or down right crazy...

I was on my lunch and I had the pleasure of viewing a woman in silver spandex with her t-shirt tucked in walk in front of me for a few blocks.... It was one of those sightings that you don't want to stare, but you cant help but look at. Might be detrimental to my vision in the long run as it engraved in my retinas.

Another Day...

And its going to rain again, I mean come on Seattle, its MAY! I have decided to take this nasty weather and make the best of it. Its back to layers. . . I had to do some digging, but the deep-v black sweater vest paired with a military inspired charcoal gray shirt and skinny pinstripe pants and some combat boots.

Its pretty darn cute people!

SIDE NOTE: was checking out the Urban Outfitters website and I FELL IN LOVE with "Suit Calvin Cardigan"  retailing at $155.00 and worth every cent pair it with some Tom's and a pair of cut off denim shorts, fitted of course and a clean white v-neck shirt and a pair of amazing sun glasses and your set to go.

What a Day!

Hello Seattle & Everyone else, Its another gray, wet and chilly day in this gorgeous city I call home. Its the end of May, and we should be having bright sunny warm weather, are we? NO! Makes me mad that I packed up all my winter clothes and jackets.

I have come to realize that its never safe to pack up that rain jacket, Actually makes me wish I was rich enough to afford the high end quality, double brested trench by Burberry. Until that day arrives I will wear the cute imitation one from The Gap.

Until next time, stay dry and bundle up
